I would change &quot;don&#39;t overdress&quot; to &quot;dress in layers&quot;! Along with that, your tip to do the bib pinning the night before is great, but I actually suggest people fold up their bib so just the number is showing and pin it to their shorts. That way, your number is showing for all the pictures but you can take off and put on layers of clothes throughout a race (particularly a 13.1 or 26.2 miles race) without the bulky bib getting in the way or possibly not showing at some point in the race. The shorts make for a much less annoying place to pin it.<br /><br />I have a tendency to &quot;strip down&quot; when I&#39;m racing hard, so it&#39;s been a helpful tip for me!
